Wendy has been quilting for almost 40 years and teaching for about 30. Quilting is her joy. She has a need to create. She loves working with fabric and color, learning new techniques, and sharing with other quilters. She says, “quilters are some of the nicest, most generous people” she knows.
She absolutely loves teaching. She looks forward to each and every workshop, and she always try to bring some new idea into the classroom. She am an instructor, but also considers herself to be a life-long student. In quilting, there is always something new to learn.
She will be speaking and sharing her designs, along with the tools she designed (Quilters’ TRIMplate® rulers) to make the traditional Storm at Sea and Snail’s Trail blocks easier to piece. TRIMplates are trimming rulers, not templates. You trim after you sew for quick fabric cutting and greater accuracy. (The original TRIMplates produced by C&T Publishing and shown in her book are no longer available. She will be sharing her “new, improved” versions.)
Come hear Wendy speak and get inspired!
