Speaker: Angie Kirk of Quilty Pleasures

Angie Kirk began quilting about 25 years ago when her children were young.  She is self-taught.  She has been a customer at Quilty Pleasures for several years, and when the opportunity arose, she bought the shop in 2016 knowing nothing about retail.  She continued to work her corporate job for two years while running the store as well.  She recently moved the store to Simi Town Center mall where she has expanded the shop with more room for classes.  She puts out a weekly newsletter with lots of tips and tricks for the quilter.  She will talk about her journey as a quilter, as well as showing us new quilts she’ll be taking to upcoming quilt shows.
